So we all have those things that bug us like none other. Unfortunately, we seem to have many. So the first one of the day: We both absolutely hate it when people are so lazy that they can't push their grocery carts into the specified areas. I mean who can't unload their cart, then walk maybe 10 yards, and put the cart in the little barred area. We were going to Costco when we actually found an empty spot! Of course there was an empty grocery cart saving it for us. I was about to hop out and move it so that Chris could pull in, but the lady in the spot next to it was pushing her cart into it and we thought "Oh! How nice! She'll put her cart and the other one away!" Oh no, she left her cart and the previous one in the middle of the spot. Then she watched me get out of the car and take both carts up to the front of the store. Shame on my part, a very inappropriate comment from the movie Drop Dead Gorgeous went through my head.
Second one of the day: We went to the Draper Temple open house last night. As there are a bajillion mormons in the area, the open house was still packed at 9:00 at night. They herd you through a long maze of tents before you go into the temple. We were in line next to the most obnoxious teenage boy. You could tell his family was soooo fed up with him! He hit the sides of the tent, made annoying comments, stomped his feet, hit people in the head, etc. Well as you get close to the temple there are signs that say "Reverence" and explain about using a whisper voice. Apparently he didn't care, or so he told his brother. Luckily we eventually got separated from them :) When we were going into the baptistry area (which is incredible!!!), the usher, a teenage girl, was texting on her cell phone! In the temple! Teenagers...
P.S. If you can, go to the open house. It is incredible! A very beautiful temple.
