I have no idea how people did it back in the day. How did they survive without good lighting? Our house is old and the lighting is awful! My eyes hurt all the time and I feel like I can't see anything! Even though we have 4 lamps and 2 sconces in our living room, I still can't see my book or sewing! When I "clean" the dishes and put them in the drying rack, I think they're all good, until the sun comes through the window, the just kidding! They're still dirty!
Its driving me nuts that I can't see!!! I think I need a very bright headlamp that points downward ( and outward).
