Sleeping and eating. Seems like 2 simple things, right? Heck no if you're Landon and 1.5 months old. Still working on those. I feel like my life would feel much more calm and simple if we could get a handle on him sleeping and eating "normally". Eating would be simple if I'd give up breastfeeding and go straight to formula. I felt like I was poisoning my baby the first time he had formula. Now it's a regular thing and I hate it.
Just watched "Happiest Baby on the Block" and hopefully our baby will soon be that and that we'll all get some sleep every once in awhile.
Good thing this guy is SO dang cute! Especially when he sees me and smiles and talks and giggles. LOVE it! He's also a little camera shy. Every time the video camera comes on...he freezes and stares at the camera.
I can't believe how big he is getting!
I missed his biggest smiles due to a full memory card, but this was pretty good!He actually enjoyed his bath today too! Geez I love the smell of baby bath products...

I love his smiles! I gave up breast feeding Andrew when he was 4 months old because it was a constant fight. It was a pretty difficult situation though because I felt a lot of guilt. I am sure you will figure out what is best for y'all! I hope that sleeping gets better too.
I ditto not feeling guilty to switch to bottles!!!!!! I wish I had done it sooner with my daughter. We both would have been much happier.

He is adorable. Don't beat yourself up about formula. Take it all in stride. Both my kids had formula early on (not even because of the reasons you are having!!) and they turned out fine. It isn't a pass fail thing and you don't fail if you baby has formula...Food for thought. I hope you all start getting more sleep soon.

i understand feeding issues, goiong 7 months of it. i hate formula too but have needed to use it for Jesse because I couldn't keep up the supply for both boys. We all gotta do what we gotta do and then say "this is what i had to do so i might as well be ok wtih it." not easy though.
